Younique 3D Fiber Lashes

Younique Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes review

Younique Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes is product that really intrigued me. Younique is a company that’s created a way of lengthening lashes by using all-natural, tiny microfibers that claim to give up to 3X times the wow factor.

You’re supplied with 2 different tubes of mascara in a super classy case (at first, I thought it was a pair of sunglasses when I opened the package) It retails for approx. $29 USD.

Younique 2 different tubes

#1 larger tube is called: “Transplanting Gel” (I call it mascara in this review for arguments sake, cause that’s what it seems like to me…) Ingredients: collagen, water, natural Propolis, Brazilian palm glue, Black iron oxide, Acrylic Copolymer, Nylon 12, Stearic acid, proplyne glycol/emulsifier. Net: 12ml

Transplanting Gel Younique

#2 smaller tube is called: “Natural Fibers” Ingredients: 100% natural fibers taken from the campanulaceae of green tea. Net: 3g

Younique Brush Tips

DIRECTIONS:

Apply the “Transplanting Gel” (aka mascara) first. It looks, feels and is applied like any mascara you’ve ever used.

What’s different about Younique 3D Fiber Lashes is the next step: applying the “fiber” brush. You apply it like mascara too (BUT AVOID APPLYING IT TOO CLOSE TO THE ROOT!)

If not, you can get some damned little fibers in your eyes (which happened the first time I tried it.) I changed my application methods, avoided the root, stuck to the tips of my lashes and had very little problems after.

As you’re applying the fiber brush, black fibers hook-on like magic and instantaneously grow your lashes. It’s amazing to watch, I never expected the product to deliver so darn fast! Check it out:

To say this product is “all-natural” is definitely a stretch. Notably though, it’s free from parabens, PEGs and fragrances, something I must give props to Younique for recognizing.

The “Transplanting Gel” alone is not thick, it glides-on and leave lashes smooth but once you add on those fibers it’s like wham! Instant eyelash extensions (or lash grafting) without all the hassle of glue and root damage.

Its a more natural effect than if you’re wearing a thick black “BUXOM Mascara” type product.

Younique 3D Fiber Lashes after application

Younique’s Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes made it through my entire work day and washes-off easily like any other mascara.

In a nutshell I’d describe Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes to be a pain-free weave for eyelashes. A fancy mascara for parties or going out- fun to apply, and gives a new look. It’s pretty, quick, and natural looking. This will be the mascara I reach for next times I need to fix-up my face for really special dates.
