My “TheChoosyChick.com Review” has been a long time coming! Ever since I crossed paths with this online-eco beauty store, I’ve had a soft spot for them.
From Choosy Chick’s cute little baby chick logo, to their cleverly laid-out store + long list of eco-brands- they’re winning!
How TheChoosyChick.com Started?
Sick of being poisoned by most beauty products out there today- Margot (owner, AKA master brainchild behind this amazing brand) wanted new standards for her and her family. She took the major step of starting (with much success) this online eco store.
From hair care, makeup, to men’s & kid’s items- TheChoosyChick.com covers the scale for any household.

I was given the chance to pick any item from the store’s catalogue (what a flipping task, I wanted everything lol). For the sake of this TheChoosyChick.com Review, I went with something that really covered almost all their products: TheChoosyChick Sampler Bag!
Who doesn’t love to be sprinkled with a bunch of different products to test (a huge reason I’m a Sephora lush! lol)

Some sizes are typical small pouches, you’d find pressed in between a magazine… But I also scored some deluxe & full size samples (Acure toner, Schmidt’s full-size deodorant, Graham Gardens soap, Badger double-ended full-size lipgloss…) Plus you get the fairtrade (www.freesetglobal.com) makeup bag too.

This sampler bag is like a flash-dance of their best beauty brews- some winning, some more losing.
Now, I can shop like a veteran on TheChoosyChick.com having wet my feet with several of their brands.
I’d preach this “sampler bag” to anyone thinking of trying cleaner skincare. It’s a quick fix to understanding and getting the full appreciation of what high caliber “organic” formulas can do for your skin (from serums, balms, cleansers, to soaps & more…)
DN-UNIK HIGHLIGHT… (BB Cream Samples!)
An extra included in my shipment was a slew of BB-Cream Samples from DN-UNIK (an organic makeup company). Never a “foundation” fan, always a “liquid moisturizer” lush- I couldn’t wait to try this stuff!
It has little scent, is very liquid’y (not oily), dries with enough time to properly apply all over your face, and covers really well!
It’s not going to cover skin like a 100% heavy makeup foundation would, so if that’s what you’re expecting- don’t try BB creams… This type of makeup is more to give your skin a light coating of coverage + added moisture. It’s always a perfect base for applying finishing powder too. I’ve always been a BB fan, either you love em’ or you don’t… I LOVED this DN-UNIK BB Cream, I’d recommend it to anyone interested without a wink.

WOW. I can’t believe the sample set includes full sizes, I have to imagine the cost of those alone is nearly the same price of the sample set itself, such a great deal! I’d love to know how you like the Schmidt’s paste, luckily I won their stick deodorant in a giveaway which I’m currently waiting on to arrive so I’d love to know how they compare. I’ve had my eye on Raw Elements too, I love the look of their SPF that comes in the tin. Such a great post, so informative and their boutique is so cute!
