ISHGA SKIN CARE REVIEW
Today’s video and blog post will be featuring my “Ishga Skin Care Review”. ISHGA is Scottish, organic skin care. The word ISHGA is derived from the Gaelic word for water.
So, Ishga’s big niche = SEAWEED based skin care. Yes, those slimy green plants from the ocean are a blessing on skin!

100% PURE SEAWEED FOR SKIN
ISHGA seaweed, isn’t just cultivated anywhere… It’s taken from some of the purest waters in the world. From, the unpolluted waters of the “HEBRIDEAN ISLANDS OF SCOTLAND”.
Ensuing cultivation… Ishga then combines their hand-harvested seaweed with natural spring water. This is done at low temperatures and begins the extraction process.
Meaning no funny stuff done to the seaweed. You’re getting a 100% pure extract– all the goodness still sealed inside. Next, this extract is used in ISHGA’s skin care because it’s filled with yummy anti-oxidants and anti-aging properties.
WHAT I RECEIVED
(Products come with a “SOIL ASSOCIATION ORGANIC” symbol.)
Well, they’re really fancy. I’m sure this is a battle for skin care companies… Wanting to appear high-end but also wanting to be ECO friendly, non-plastic etc…
These are definitely some of the fanciest bottles I’ve ever received. Yes, they are recyclable – just lots of plastic. Esthetically, they’re really pretty. Types of bottles and packaging you’d expect to see in a high-end spa etc…
ANTI-OXIDANT MARINE CREAM REVIEW
- Made w/71% organic ingredients
Truly, it’s a CREAM (not a balm or butter feeling at all.) Color is white with a pink tinge. Scent wise, this cream is very pleasant, nothing strong. It reminds me of the smell of a freshly cup of brewed orange pekoe tea.
Soaks into skin immediately, no greasy feeling at all. Loved using this stuff before bed – along with a good face serum.
ISHGA’s INVIGORATING BODY OIL REVIEW
- Made w/99% organic ingredients
Can be used as a moisturizer after showering or you can also use it as a bath oil! Personally, I’m a HUGE fan of oil based products and this one was amazing!
First the smell. Top citrus notes and some floral base notes in there too. Neither does this oil feel greasy after applying. No slick, shiny layer left on skin either. No doubt, I’d buy this product again!
Sure, I make body oils all the time, but I can’t make one with this kind of seaweed extract. It’s fancy, natural, and extremely moisturizing on skin. BIG FAN!
(6 MONTH expiry on BOTH products)
ISHGA SKIN CARE REVIEW CONCLUSION

ISHGA SKIN CARE REVIEW
Yes, I am a huge fan of getting new ingredients on my skin. Seaweed was definitely new to me. So far, I’m a fan of the results – having tested both products for a few weeks now.
