Indian Bijou Review (PART II)
Here’s my stab at a 2nd round Indian Bijou Review. If you didn’t catch my first write-up, I chatted Indian Bijou’s cute cushion covers…
Indian Bijou Review – Tealight Holder
Quickly, Indian Bijou makes traditional – but also ethical house-ware and jewelry. Listen, I am no Martha Stewart when it comes to decorating. So, when I can get my hands on beautiful, handcrafted, authentic décor pieces- I feel like I’m doing my house good.
Indian Bijou Tealight Holder
Specifically, I was given the “Tealight Holder Beautiful Handblock Pattern” for this Indian Bijou Review
- Material: Sheesham (Species of Redwood indigenous to India)
- Dimensions: 7 inch x 4 inch x 4.5 inch
- Accommodates one tealight or votive candle (not included)
- As the product is handcrafted, there can be slight color variations which is normal
Candle holders are pretty much timeless. I knew I couldn’t go wrong with this wood piece; the quality and work put into it showed through immediately.
All Indian Bijou Tealight Holders have been designed by Abshar Husain (an award-winning wood carver…) 10 different unique designs to pick from, some hold 2 tealights or 1. Prices ranges from $18USD to $28USD.
All the tealight holders are made from beautiful “redwood” so they’ll stand the test of time. Patterns are created by intricately engraving the wood.
The tealight holder hangs easily and flush against walls. I appreciated that + it comes with a handy – metal indented hook on the back of the holder. I’m confident it won’t come flying off my walls unless someone wants it down – you gotta appreciate that.
Indian Bijou Review – CONCLUSION
Being a first-time home buyer recently, it makes me fuzzy inside when I can make my living space my own. It’s hard to find pieces that are eco-friendly, ethically produced, and aiding small business owners. You get all that on IndianBijou.com.
Satisfaction that you’re supporting local artists, keeping alive local traditions and supporting entire communities = win, win, win!
