Citrusy Nighttime is the Right Time!
First thing I’d like to preach, citrus essential oils can only be applied on your face at night. Why? Because all citrus essential oils (lemon, lime, orange, mandarin, grapefruit etc…) are PHOTOTOXIC – meaning if you put citrus oils on your skin and go chill in the sun, you’ll not only burn way faster- you’ll seriously damage your skin too. Citrus oils and the sun are a major “faux-pas”
When I see blends (and it happens often…) like: orange face lotion recipes, or lemon serums etc… they’re seriously just bad news if you’re new to the “green scene”. Essential oils can really mess-up your skin, if not used right.
All of this to say MAJOR PROPS to Aromic! Yes, their face serum is citrus based, but it’s specified as a “nighttime” oil. For that fact – Aromic had my respect right away.

This serum is 100% oil-based and definitely smells like a super sweet, orange candy. It’s bright yellow and comes in your usual amber, glass, dropper bottle.
Yes, there’s a few big words when it comes to the ingredients; rest assured, I did my research. Everything in Aromic’s stuff is clean.
Aromic Skincare Review Wrap-Up!
Did I like it? Yes, I loved it. I’m a serum lush and this one didn’t fail my face. I used it every night for 2 weeks. My skin was always fresh and plump in the mornings. There’s definitely some quick but subtle benefits that you’ll notice immediately. I even applied a bit to my hair; I was having a dry hay day. It’s amazing for that too!
Sure, I get it – for some people the thought of oil on their skin is way too taboo. Too bad for you, your skin is missing out. For those already on the band wagon, or preparing to, this night serum is the perfect start.
The price is a bit steep but the ingredients are non-compromised and high in quality- for that reason you’re gonna pay for it.
I’d definitely add or recommend this addition to anyone’s “green” beauty cabinet.
This serum is Aromic’s first product, so really this lovely company is just on the cusp! I’m stoked to see what they come out with next.

Ooh, this sounds a fab brand. Nice amount of oils in the products by the sounds of it too. I love citrus, not sure about a face serum with the scent at night as its uplifting. It does sound good all the same, I’m interested to look at their range. Thanks for sharing!
